Fishing Jams

Post by Kockmandoo » Mon Jul 30, 2012 7:54 pm

When I go fishing, im always listening to music beforehand. Something to get me pumped up beforehand. Whats everyones favorite music to listen prior to or while fishing?

LOL. From the topic, I was thinking fishing log jams.....fishing smelly jelly....certainly wasn't thinking music....I must be getting old. :-k [blink]

I don't listen to music while fishing....disrupts the peace and quiet. :-$

I don't because I don't need any pumping up. I don't listen to music while fishing either. Not to keep the peace and quiet but because I just don't. Sometimes I listen to a book. [rolleyes]

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

hawg quest toons or some AC/DC or Cage the elephant is not bad or even some of my dads old rock. Anything that gets me more pumped for a nice day on the water with the added catching of some fish.

I was thinking the same thing "Oh a string on fishing log jams - cool!" I don't listen to anything while fishing - except the river, the birds, the wind... I don't listen to my Ipod on the way to/from because I strip my rig of EVERYTHING of value before going so if someone does break in they get nothing.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

AC/DC, heavy metal, and mostly country is what gets me pumped up for fishing, also wrestling and football.

usually when I roll on serious fish missions its like 0-dark-30, I've just woken up and i prefer the silence of my thoughts as i run a game plan through my head and try to wake up.. just leaving the house to go fish is all the "pumping up" i need.. this isn't until mid aug to september though usually where i'm up at dawn..

when i take my son fishing its usually AC/DC or Truckfighters .. my 5yr olds favorite bands right now.. he's got the rock n roll inside him.. chip off the ol block.. [thumbup]

if there were such a thing as fish jam or jelly spread for bread or toast.. i wouldn't eat it.. PB&FJ.. no thanks! [rolleyes]
