I couldn't find a good website to tell me this, so I will ask you guys. Is there any way to get a good guesstimate of the girth of a bass based on length? I caught a good bass a while ago but didn't get a girth measurement. I know the length, 16 inches. Is there any rules on manipulating girth through fish types like "fat", thin", or "average"?
Thanks in advance.
:safe: out.

RE:Bass Girth
just type the length and it will put an average girth (i think).

RE:Bass Girth
Hey, thanks. I've been on the same page but I didn't know they had a girth average.

RE:Bass Girth
I just assumed cause a 16 inch fish is about 2#s and that said 2.3 so just above 2.
A good 3# fish is about 18 inches. If you type just 18 it says 3.6, just under 3 and a half so...
