Thanks guys...I'm glad you like it. One more thing to add, I'm going to hand deliver the plaque to the winner so he (or she) can pose with it. Offer stands for most of Western WA, sorry Eastern Anglers (and out-of-staters), I'm gonna have to mail it to you. If that's the case, please send back a photo of you and your awards.

Welcome back "the1profisher"...to answer your question, no, I don't use any power tools, I'm pretty much an Amish Carpenter :smurf:

Come on guys...fourth quarter...step it up!!!!

Tried for cats this afternoon with The Thumb. Couldn't find em, but that might have been due to the weather front passing, the wind, the rain, and the water temps below 60

Good sized fish. Did it fight?
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Nice going!! =d>
What's the weight on that nasty thing? I bet it weighs more than all your other fish combined!
Hmmm different hat and different jacket... I guess they weren't lucky after all.

Oh yeah... and I vote that you get extra points for catching all the fish from shore.

I forgot how much fun those guys are! I was just out there with my ultra light setup so the drag was pretty loose, took about 10 minutes to get him in, thought he was going to spool me a couple times!
Actually I didn't weigh him - I am guessing about 5-6#?
I ended up giving it to the guy that took the picture - my new friend "Boris from Muldovia". Said he likes Carp better than trout - thought he was going to have a heart attack while I was bringing it in.

Thank you Thank you..

I'd like to thank 1st my wife, for putting up with (and playing along) my two+ hour dissapearing acts ("no really the line at the gas station was HUGE!"), WL.com for this site, fishinislife for his creativity in starting this whole contest, Bassackwards for the awsome "insentive", all the other WL.com members who participated whether it be through competition or cheerleading, my new friends Radu from Romania and Boris from Muldovia. And a special thanks to all the little fish out there because without them none of this would have been possible!:-" The coolest thing is that a little competition like this resulted in..
Me getting to know some of the people on this site.
Getting me off my but and trying a body of water that I have been meaning to check out for 5+ years and never got around to it.
Learning about and actually targeting fish that are out of my comfort zone.
Meeting people that I would have otherwise never met.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker
