She's worth the trade.
Amen brother...

If you're gonna buy $300 worth of "gear"...the trade is that she get's $300 in "girl gear" (which equates to 2 small makeup containers from Mac and a shirt)

Great story Cavdad...I had to laugh

Cavdad45,
When ever I read a post like yours, it makes me realise just how lucky I am.
My little wife would much rather shop at Sportmans Warehouse than she would at some girly store.
She is going to be stopping at Sportmans tomorrow.
I asked for a couple of bags of baits but it is always a surprise to see what else she thinks we need, LOL.
She is chomping at the bit for Cabelas to open.

When you are married to your best friend and your fishing partner, life is good

I hear ya... except for the girly store shopping. My wife is equal parts Gretchen Wilson and Isabella Rossellini. She's as happy at BPS/Cabelas as she is at Nordstrom.

Yellow Bear,

She is a perfect fit for me. She doesn't fish much, but that's okay. Her other qualities beat that. Besides, it's our differences that compliment each other. If she were more like me, we wouldn't have evenmade it to the second date. Most awesome lady, more than I ever dreamed for.

I'm Moderating the Bass forum. Let's keep our gloves up gentlemen. Everyone deserves a 4th chance....

If it looks as if it's going south again, I'll step in and put and end to it quickly before it turns ugly. :thumright

Hey! Wake up man! Being a moderator demands physical and mental endurance, it takes one heck of a man to sit at a computer screen all day! Slacking off will get you nowhere in this army! Do you want to be DEMOTED?????!!!!!!! LOL.

LOL!!! It's all fun and games until someone gets an eye poked out!

You two are both great picks for moderator. Just teasing the iPod, a bit!
Feeling worn out, yet? :clown:

Yes....been up day and night for the last three days......Rockstar energy drink is the only thing keeping me up. adjfkja; trn84 Sorry, my fingers are twitching from the caffeine and lack of sleep. Three more days of this and I'll have to buy some of the liquid sleep advertised on eBay. They sell everything there. When someone gets an eye poked out I blame them for not drinking enough Rockstar and not keeping alert.

(disclaimer: I take no responsibility for anyone else stupid enough to try and replicate the things that I have documented here.)

(other disclaimer: I never really did this stuff so don't try!)

We've really only had a few major conflicts on the forum since it got started so I wouldn't think they'd be too busy??? Maybe I'm wrong

Not busy at all. Haven't gotten a single PM about a thread going south.

I've only seen two threads get shut down myself, and have only seen two other instances of "unsportsmanlike conduct" on this site. That's pretty good for the number of members, posts, etc.

Still my favorite fishing site.

I've seen about 6 shut down or deleted, and about 8 instances of "unsportsmanlike conduct." I've been here since the beginning so I've seen all those early conversations in the off topic and musky forum get heated. The advantages far outweigh the occasional flames. Great job Mike!

I didn't count the recent delete, but that wasn't around too long that day.

Looking back on this thread, I see we've talked about nothing for almost 4 forum pages. Strange. Oh yeah, I didn't count the recent delete either. I have a neighbor whose last name is Savage.

You better WATCH IT MISTER!!!! Statements like that will get you "edited"....like "Ipod" said, this Moderator stuff is HARD work. My productivity at work has reached all time lows, my family doesn't know me anymore and I spend countless hours trying to weed out all the mispeeled words (gotta edit SOMETHING for gods sake).

I feel like picking a fight with someone JUST so "Ipod" can warn me. Kinda like the military, it takes a conflict to "sharpen their skills".... (bad example)
