I'd like to go, but the cost of fuel is prohibitive. Anyone willing to carpool? I live in Lake Stevens and drive a Tacoma (2 seats).
Missing the weekend crowd could be an advantage...

I was going to go for 3 days, but after buying pellets today for heat and paying the car insurance, I'm down to one day. Not sure which day now.

It was nice talking with Mike and Toni today at the booth. I was able to view what a membership upgrade offers and I signed up with ease. Stop by the both, sign up for a membership upgrade, save money and pick a gift.

cool, thanks everyone, my head is swimming meeting members of the site and signing up new ones. I'm doing pretty good keeping track of all the names for a mid-fifties greying hair guy.

Mike, good to see you at the show. You looked a bit busy and maybe frazzled a bit. Nate, good to meet you in person. Probably should have stayed and yakked a bit but my buddies I was at the show with had already told me not to bother you too much.... See ya out there.

Check out the show for the first time this year. Saw some good deals but I wasnt there to buy any gear. Sat down at the indoor steelhead river and learned a lot. There was a couple bobber downs to when they were teaching float and jig fishing. Saw the warmwater tank with a bass demonstration and there was a largemouth bass with a bluegill in its mouth. Awesome sight to see. Found some Columbia River guides for springers, but Im not sure about doing it yet. It was a good experience since the tickets were free. Good seeing you again Nate and good luck.

The bass story is even better. What I heard was a kid's fish fell out of his plastic bag (caught at the kid's fish pood) and a woman "paniced" and tossed the trout into the bass tank which promptly got ate by the bass. I would have paid money to have seen that.

Congratulations two both of you! Blurock - that Worksharp is sweet! I love mine!
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker
