i dont know where you live but if you want a chance at catching a
NICE steelhead then you should buy the vedder license and fish there. Tire slashing doesnt happen in the winter, and if your close enough to go fishing at least 1 or 2 times a week, its the best river within driving distance of seattle for non-hatchery brat fish. Caught 65 steelhead in 21 trips last year, PLENTY were over 15lbs. Got a 18lb hatch fish and natives bigger. Forget it if you dont live north of seattle however.

. These fish happen almost daily up there. 150$ license. Its same price as ONE guide trip but if you go enough its much more worth it.
