bird nest- the back spooling of line on your reel that will cause you to quit fishing for an indetermined length of time.

This is a fun thread! Whatever happened to the dictionary? I'll add one:
Spawn Sacs: Fine mesh webbing wrapping up loose cured roe, tied off with magic thread. Often used to keep roe on the hook longer or to use a very small amount of bait, or single eggs.

Billy Rod - usually a cheap walmart saltwater rod loaded with at least 50lb test, used for snagging. seen commonly on the skok
Force Fed'em - a popular term for snagging on the penisula rivers
