A group of us scouted a new river. Water was super high. We found a section that looked fishy. BOBBERDOWN! We went 9/14 as a group and I went 5/8. I released 3 downriver fish and 1 that pushed 14 pounds. Great day fishing with some good friends. We were home just in time when the Turkey was being pulled out of the oven.

wow, nice fish guys. I gotta work less...

Maybe Monday I'll have a chance to get out, weather permitting. Darn fronts have been hitting on my days off, very frustrating!

U kno me... i dont go steelheading ANYWHERE without my eggs. Uncured, just borax on coho eggs under float with a bit of pink or red yarn. Fished a hole today right after 3 guys left it, and they were using single eggs and jigs and caught one. I took one cast as they were leaving, hooked a 10 pounder. They turn around and are like what the hell??? they leave and i proceed to catch 6 more. Gotta have the roe. Lol Heres todays pictures, went 2/4 today, water got lower made fishing tougher but still good day!
