New Washingtonlakes.com Yacht

Post by Marc Martyn » Tue Nov 15, 2011 12:12 am

Here is a sneak preview of the Washingtonlakes.com yacht that Mike just ordered.......all aboard! Reserve your vacation now.

Created by UK-based yacht design company Yacht Island Designs, bringing
a whole island onto a yacht.

The design as you can see is inspired by tropical islands, with huts, a pool and
to top it off, a whole volcano that is sure not to erupt. Since this is a yacht,
it comes packed with special VIP rooms, arcades, gym, lounges, spas and
even a helipad . The volcano adds a lot of beauty to the whole look of the yacht;
it also happens to have water flowing out of it onto the pool creating this
amazing river complementing the whole tropical look.

The back of the yacht has a retractable beach deck where structures float on
the sea making the sea accessible to swim in and, of course, grant access to various
water activities such as wake boarding and jet-skis.

I cant wait to borrow it this comming spring. Does it have its own climate control? I didnt see any pole holders or downriggers. Come on guys ,lets no get cheap now. Throw in some bells or whistles or I wont use it at all.You might want to tell Mike to buy a new truck like a V-12 or something to pull it on a trailer. Id look mighty nice cruising Banks lake or Roosevelt in the summer.

Shouldn't that front pool/pond be stocked ! Maybe add some brush around the edge. A dock or two to skip a worm under? A few underwater boulders to attract the smallies? No matter whom builds it.........there are always add on's! [thumbsup]

Our dues are going up now right? #-o

It is a cool boat. Looks more like an oversized bass boat than a yacht.

Nice side pods for trolling. That minnow bait pond in the rear would come in handy for the walleye guys. :-k Or crawfish pond. LUNCH TIME!

You youngsters are way ahead of yourselves. I know now Tom wants a crayfish pond but it will be behind one of three herring ponds. What also would be nice is a small 50 caliber gun mounted for sea lions and purse seiners.I think a dungie pool would be nice also. Last time I used the Wa lakes yacht I had a lil misshap that was more Marcs fault then mine. Marc was singing "Im Popeye the sailor man" while drunk .You youngins wait in line for some of us older guys to use it first. [flapper] . Mike youre such a generous leader.

Looks like Gilligan's Island on a yacht. Hey, it's only a 3 hour tour, a 3 hour tour. [laugh]

Rac, somehow I knew that the last incident when you had the yacht would involve me. [glare] Now, to untangle the event, it was ME that found you sprawled out on the state room floor, singing "Popeye The Sailor Man" to your reflection on the mirrored ceiling with wine bottles scattered all over the place. At first I couldn't understand what you were singing because it sounded like Yiddish, but I figured out the melody after a bit. I went up to the helm and found the auto pilot on and the engines running. This is why we are reluctant to let you use the yacht. :-k

Since we are discussing modifications, I don't think it is too late to order a snow making machine on the mountain for the snow boarders and a refrigeration unit in the pool for the ice fisherman. [thumbsup]

Bikinis are o.k., thongs no! =; If any women are caught wearing a thong, the moderators will escort them to the dock. [-X If at sea, then they will have to "walk the plank". Oh! I forgot. #-o I didn't tell you about the Moderators Plank..... :pirat:

From the description, the helipad is on the back. "The back of the yacht has a retractable beach deck where structures float on the sea making the sea accessible to swim in and, of course, grant access to various water activities such as wake boarding and jet-skis". My first thought was where is the bridge? It must be the top row of windows overlooking the huts.

Since the popularity of this yacht is climbing, a second yacht may be in the future. For a European touch, this Monaco model is also under consideration. The only real question is, are we going to allow topless sunbathing on the beach. :-k It is pretty common in Monaco.

I would have to give a thumbs up the the sun bathing but she looks a bit short for an F1 GP.
