Winter fishin

Post by Lyndon » Wed Sep 26, 2007 9:25 pm

Its not winter yet but I have always wanted to fish in the winter because I have not tried it. I heard that it is really difficult but I heard that jigs work really good on the bottom and I heard that you want to use slow moving lures. I think in the winter that you are supposed to fish deep. IS there anything else I should know about fishin in the winter? should I try anus oil lol.

Hey Lyndon, I want to know about Witner Fishin too! LOL im just kidding. But Me and you should hit lacamas sometime. Maybe even this Friday, Im gonna hit the boat launch about 7ish. Im kinda curious about winter bass fishing as well. I know that bass start swarming the shallows in search of food to store up through the winter. So i dont think size will matter much. If you can get the lure in front of its face, Im sure it will be hungry enough to bite it. The best information I can recommend, is that you should fish with a few buddies and find what works best for you. Most of all have fun while your doing it. Reel slowly and give the bass enough time to strike. Try different colors and many different styles. Top water, mid water, and bottom fishing. You will learn the best way possible, and will become a better bass fisher from it.
