Best day so far!

Post by jigman » Wed Sep 26, 2007 4:18 pm

Had a great morning on the lake today, must be something to the moon phases. Put 3 muskies in the boat, a 38, 41 and 43 inch all on bucktails. They were aggresive as all fish were caught within the 1st few cranks after the cast. Had one other follow from a small fish. All fish were caught near points with structure. Doesn't get much more fun then that!

Great job. Three muskies in one day! That's 30,000 casts.

Wow what a day!!!!! Congrats on the fish. I think the moon phase and the barometer have a great deal to do with whether the fish are biting or not.

Took about a whole roll of film of the fish laying in the net, the 43 tore another hole in my net. Those Muskie are hard on nets!

Mike,
You're going to have to 'let her snap' and buy a Frabill knotless bag. No more tangled lures or torn holes. Mine has had quite a few fish in it and still hasn't tangled a single lure or come close to tearing. Great net bag.
