Can someone confirm??

Post by lonnie197272 » Wed Apr 06, 2011 1:18 pm

I recieved this picture via text message yesterday stating this was caught out of Moses Lake and was 22lbs. Havent verified it yet but I do know that the School in the background is Knolls Vista School that is in Moses so............Hopefully someone knows something because that would be the new state record I believe.

It dosen't appeer to have enough gerth to be 22 lbs, but it is a nice fish.
One of the bigger fish I have seen from Moses in a few years now.

Ya thats what I thot too but pics can be deceiving. I know that when they were doing there annual egg collection a few years ago for WDFW they got one that was just over 19 lbs so they are in there.

Nice fish, but unless the guy is like 6'5" or taller, I don't think it would weigh in at 22lbs.

Ya I hear ya there!! I am guessing that the fish goes somewhere around 14-15 lbs. Still a great fish no matter what. I have done some checking with the WDFW and the people that sent the pic ( was sent to me from my father, which was sent to him by a guy he works with, which I guess know the guy that caught it, whew!) and there is not any real weights on it. Oh well!

Hard to tell size from the pic. it's either a really big male or a spawned out female. The really big eyes are females full of eggs. No big sag belly on that fish.
