Anybody diggin Razors this weekend??

Post by Jaksonbrown » Fri Apr 08, 2011 1:56 pm

They have opened up razor clam diggin again this weekend. Gonna be headed out to twin beaches to get mine. Anybody else gonna head out there and get some of these tasty buggers? Seeing as how it seems that I am cursed into never catchin a fish again, maybe I can catch some of these things! #-o

We will be at twin beach. Low tide is at 11am, so you can usually start diggin at about 2 hours prior to low tide. It closes at noon so you have to stop diggin then, but limits have been reached pretty easily in that time. Ill be the guy out there in a black bloodydecks.co jacket on. Stop by and say hi if ya see me.

If you do an over night, use some of those razors for some surf perch fishing. It's a lot of fun.

I did hit the last dig, March. There is another dig later this month as well, tentative the last time I read the notice. Two digs in the month of April, I might hit the next, I did hit Hood canal for clams and oysters on friday, killer weather for it!

Well, that Razor clam diggin is alot of work!!! My back is still sore! We did get our limit, and damn! those buggers are sure good! The amazing thing is the number of people. That beach had to be a couple miles long at least and there had to be 5000+ people on this beach. It was the most amazing site! Just crazy!

Haven't heard of it being approved yet, sounds like they need to get the results from the clam survey.
