Nice lure! The willow blade should work great. Lets take a peek at what the MDB Squid did a few days ago. The simular lure to the above has recieved a Chinook Salmons stamp of approval. Craig here is a little fish from a Puget Sound beach.

This really isn't a factor, because tigers only live 6 to 8 years, so there are no fish left in any of our lakes from the original stockings, and all of the lakes have had the same opportunity to grow fish to their maximum size and age. IMO a given lake's chances of producing a trophy tiger muskie depends on three things: Lake size (bigger is better), availability of forage (more and bigger is better), and fishing pressure (less is better). Mayfield and Merwin historically have produced tigers in the 48-inch-plus class, but they're not as plentiful in these lakes as they once were, due to increased fishing pressure. Evergreen, at only 238 acres, probably is too small to grow large tiger muskies. I feel the chances of catching a big fish are best at Mayfield, Merwin, Tapps, or Curlew, not necessarily in that order.

Just a little 'ditty' on the larger lures part of the discussion..... The tiger I just posted in here came on a 10", 7 ounce Swimmin' Joe swim bait! HUH? YES, I SAID 10" SWIM BAIT!!!! I'll keep throwing them and let the results speak for themselves. My last three fish on Silver have come on that same lure; two last fall, and now this one last Wednesday. I just placed an order to replace several that I lost to the bottom. I am down to 2 left! Don't be shy, throw anything you got, even the BIG GIRLS!!!!!
