Well, I am not a very good muskie fisherman yet, but I am in!
I figure it's a good way to learn more.....

and I know I will pick up some pointers from you pros!
Tiger Muskies are sterile.
You can't keep them under 50 inches:
Let them do their job: Eating N.P.Minnows

Hey KUP,
From what I see, you just need some more time on the water!!!

They must all be too tired. LOL

Kenster said, six total were caught with 4 being legal and the winner was something like 42 3/4". Nice fish. I hope someone has pix. Did anyone from the site even place?

I'm sure the guys have all the stats for everyone but that's what I know.

I didn't participate in the Mayfield tournament, so I don't know the results. I couldn't fish the tournament because I'd previously made a commitment to fish Merwin Lake with friends. We started fishing Friday afternoon and 3 hours later I hooked my first fish, which broke the line next to the boat as I tried to maneuver it into the cradle -- that one was a chunky 46 to 48 inch fish that weighed about 26 to 28 lbs. I caught two on Sunday. I probably won't post any Merwin fishing reports until I return to Seattle at the end of the month. In general, the water levels at Merwin are high, and there's more fish on the shoreline cover than we found last year. Another musky fisherman we met on the lake asked me to tell you Merwin is fished out so don't bother coming here (chuckle) ...

Hey fishin..
Kenster is correct on the fish caught..I believe all the anglers that caught fish have visited this site. This is how some found out about the tourney. 3 fish that were caught were caught by chapter members. One honorable mention fish was my sons'. A 38.5 x 17.5 beauty. 4th place I should say..by a quarter inch..I'll try to slap a photo in this spot. Hopefully it will work if not I'll do a report photo on Mayfield Lake. That usaully takes about 24 hours or so. Also check out nwtigermuskies.com in a day or so we'll post photos there....
