I'll do a search for the local breeders. It'll take some time on this slow computer. Otherwise I'll ask a person I know. Been awhile since I've known any Lab breeders. I've been breeding Alaskan Malamutes off and on since about '82.

Seattle Kennel Club dog show: Meet The Breed Booth - March 12th & 13th, 2011, Seattle, WA.

Search for Seattle Kennel Club, and you can find the times and ring number for any breed. This listing is usually also in the Seattle newspaper the Thrusday/Friday before the show. So you can watch the dogs being shown and visit the booth.

Your chihuahua is going to love being a fetch toy for your new lab. My yellow lab would find and fetch both of my daughters chihuahuas and drop them at my feet. He was soft mouthed so he didn't hurt them (other than their feelings).

wolverine lol thats funny the chihuahuas are ornery little dogs aren't they lol feelings get hurt for anything. yes this should be fun but I also had the chihuahua with pitts and never had an issue with any of them although ever dog I owned I/we trained to be raised to be an obedient family member.

63 days til birth, plus 8 weeks and then the puppies can go home.

8 weeks = 2 months plus 63 days, which is 2 months, will be 4 months from breeding day/s. :-)

Good thread. I've been looking for a Lab ,or lab mixed dog for awhile. I dont want to spend 3-7 hundred for a dog. Im great for a mutt.Like Dicinu I want a puppy to train myself.

yeah the only thing I rush to do is get out to go fishing everything else I have patients for lol the wife and I have been researching another pet as we just have the Chihuahua and figured a lab would work great for us as we are a water and hunting loving family A lab we felt would be a great combo for that.

If you arent looking for a papered pooch you can find pups on craigslist. I have been looking for another dog for awhile now and have seen plenty of chocolate labs ( young & older) on that site. Just an idea.

We have a 2 year old Chocolate Lab/Alaskan Malamute mix that is free to a good loving home. Generally he is a good dog but we live on a city lot and he needs more room. PM me if you are interested and would like more details.
