Musky @ Loon Lake Eastern WA.

I might have missed an earlier report.
I have two friends that live at Loon lake.
Both of them told me the state has plans
to stock Tiger muskies in Loon lake. Does
anyone know if this is true?

I'm on the WDFW mailing and have not seen anything that hints on Muskie's going to Loon. It might be possible, but I don't see it happening only because the lake has a strong Kokenee population and I don't think the state would take the chance damaning that population, just my two cents.

Jmay,
Merwin is a perfect example of how muskies and kokanee can live in the same body of water and both thrive.
They don't share the same areas most of the year except for the kokanee spawning run.
I'm not sure about the future plans for muskies in Loon.

I'll give Randy Osbourne a call and see what he says. I'll post the word as soon as I have it.
