I noticed that all the really nice fish were landed in really nice boats. Are there any trophy fish caught from a float tube or pontoon boat? Now that would be cool.
Where you go is less important than how you get there.

Mine was from kayak, I followed my buddy in the drift boat since it was my first time on that river and didn't know it.

:eye: Better look again Joe - All of my fish on this post are from shore except for the LM - it was from a pontoon (ok, the Smallie was from dock - not shore)
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Not mine but my 7 year old son with his 23# springer. He caught it entirely on his own on fathers day  . Grandpa had to help him hold it up :) Second year in a row he has caught the only fish in the boat on our fathers day trip. :) Sorry for the bad picture, batteries were dead in the camera so the cell phone came out.

That things got shoulders.=d> You ever seen a 23 lb Steelie? A little longer with less girth though. I'd buy 23.:salut:
It's not about weight though, nice fish.

Bottomed out my 20# scale before gutting it. Got home and stepped on a bathroom scale with it and it was 20# gutted. It definately had shoulders! It really didn't matter how big it was though.... look at the smile! Same smile with his steelhead a week earlier and it NEVER gets old.
