There is a "Rocky Point" at Loon Lake, but that's been guessed before.
Where you go is less important than how you get there.

Hahahahahaha, that's awesome. Google maps to thank for that, good thing I can read a topo and figure out which direction the camrea was facing. What made me certain was I could see the beaver lodge from the satellite. I'll post mine in a second...

You're dead on. Yea, it's a 180 degree pano, with a lot of straight lines in it. It get's distorted like that with the fish eye effect.

lake wenatchee and fish lake looking from sugarloaf peak heading towards maverick saddle. the town of plain can be seen from here to.

Correct. Didn't expect it to be so quick. The burned out section is a pretty good give away. You been up Mad river trail before?

I've hiked up there before too, it's really cool. the burn out was really neat to be in. I don't remember where we went but it was a pretty steep hike. It'd be cool if there were some lakes to hike to there, give me something to go back for.
