Looks a lot like a Tiger in that video. I know there are no Muskie in Europe, and I know younger Pike will have the stripes but this one seems like a bigger fish. Weird.

Thats what I thought. Looked like a Tiger, but the stripes are to wide and the color of the fish seems to golden to be a Tiger.

It looks very similar to this Tiger though

Wow!

Pretty amazing video. I would definitely say the fish in the video is a Northern Pike. However, I must say I've never seen a Northern with the scale pattern that particular fish has. Very strange indeed! All the body features are those of a Pike yet the scale-pattern looks very much like that of a Barred Muskellunge. I think one of the determining factors of the video is that this fish appears to have a much more rounded tips on its paired fins and a more rounded tail than a Muskie would have etc... Pretty cool thanks for sharing it!
