I am curious to know also if anyone has been out there recently and knows the status on the ramp. I have launched my boat there a couple times, but its a 3 man job to lift the bow over the roller due to the ramp angle.

Drove by it a little while ago passing through and didn't even think to look. Trent and Bob Johansen have been down in that area and I'm sure they know what its looking like. Hope one of them see this post. Trent has been MIA for awhile now. If not hit them up PM. They'd be glad to help ya out. Otherwise the next time I'm down there I'll stop in and take some pics.

I was last out there around the 6th of Sept and the guy who works there at that ramp said they were shutting it day around the 8th to start in on the repairs. I haven't been out there to check on how things are going.

Thanks, I'll be anxious to find out. called the Mason co. park office today and didn't get an answer. May not make it out to Mason before winter but it'd be nice to hit it come spring for some largies.

Hey Ocktane, I ended up fishing at Tapps on Saturday and due to the severe wind, ended up staying home.
I'm hoping to stop at our property within the week and I'm curious to see if the new launch is up. I'll keep you posted

Thanks Kevin! I wouldn't bother though, I gave the Mason Co. Parks and Rec office a call and they finally called me back. Boat launch is not up yet. They've been working on it and expect it to be completed by mid December. Oh well, if its up and runnin come springtime so be it, just in time to harrass them hawgs!

The new boat launch is done. With a bigger parking area. The company that did the job is who I work for, I wasn't there on that job they knew the boat would be in the way.

Haha, I understand. Cool that the lot is bigger, I wonder how the ramp itself is now? I can feel that itch to catch bass and burn gas comin on!
