i tried to break it on the hookset.

That is excellent, FM. Glad to hear!

One thing to keep in mind: I'm pretty sure I had loosened the drag up a bit while we were chatting, just for demo purposes to explain 20# & 17# vs. 15# and 12#. You may want to make sure the drag is locked all the way down if you are going after big LM in heavy cover. Keep the pics and reports coming, my man!
