When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Not a problem here. All the doors and windows are closed. Very cool. Image

it's only 74 degrees in our house right now. At work it's 99 in the armory I work at. being an armory it has no windows and only one door. the door is open durning the day but when it cools down at night no one is there to man it to keep the door open and let the cooler air in.

But this is nothing we were in 154 degrees in Iraq and that was in the shad. In full gear sitting in a humvee in the direct sunlight. Sure if you were lucky to be in the lead truck you got some air blowing on you....they had AC but the standing in the turret you got none other than your legs.......after 6 hour convoy you were soaked head to toe like you jumped in a lake with all your gear on.

Wow Scott Thats an eye opener. Im not complaining about the heat just wondering whats going on in other areas. You humble me knowing you served in Iraq. Ive been to the mid east quite a few times.110-120 only and in shorts. also about 100 lbs lighter. hehe

Says it's 98 degrees right now over in Wallula where I work, so I'm guessing it was over 100 earlier and that was while having to work around evaporators and all that stuff blaaaaa. A lot of sweating for me today when I had to walk out to grab samples haha.

I agree rjn,..I'm an Ironworker and when it's hot as it has been the last couple of days,..with all our gear on and our tools,..not fun! AC"S on in the Livingroom and my Bedroom,..kids don't like the AC so just a fan,..says 78 outside now,..no breeze and very warm,..I do like the nights when it's hot and the sun finally goes down,..can't beat it!
