First, let me say, "WOW!" to all of the great photos. I haven't had anything to contribute to this thread until today.

Let's just say that the bass hit subtley and actually felt like a smaller bass until I pulled back to set the hook and all I thought was OMG.... This is a good one. I don't know how much she weighs and I really don't care as I never weigh them anyway. She put up a heck of a fight and I just prayed my 8# test was gonna hold up around the dock legs.

And if you're wondering, she was released to fight another day.

Island YOU FINALLY GOT HER !!! BIG MOMMA ... Dude thats the same bass that broke broke me off about 3 years ago From the same exact spot .. When i got her to go she was sitting right under the walk way bridge , man thats a pretty fish i was have always wondered how big she was , she gave me a great fight that went on for about 4-5 minutes then she found some wood and it was game over ! Good work bro !!
