I found a great deal on a new Yammie and decided to replace my 1987 15hp Johnson 2-stroke trolling motor. It's been a great motor for me and will be for you too!

Motor has had the carburator completely removed a cleaned out/decarbonized this April by Jacobsen's Marine. The motor runs great but the electric start is not working and needs a new solenoid. If you know engines this is something you can do yourself no problem - otherwise the manual start works great and I've been out on the sound trolling with this engine about a dozen times over the last month and it has run like a champ.

I use an onboard oil tank with Johnson's Accumix system but my mechanic has recommended that I switch over to a pre-mixed tank for better performance and reliability in the long run. I don't want the hassle of adding another fuel tank to my boat so I decided not to make the conversion. This would be a great motor for a smaller boat or a great trolling motor for a bigger boat. It pushes my 18' whaler at speeds from 1.2 to about 5.5 mph comfortably.

I have service records and original manual. Serious enquiries only please, asking $500.
