I don't think anyone is critizing(sp?) you or your post at all. I guess no one remembered to say thanks for the heads up on the deals. I'll definately keep poking my head in there.

I don't think anyone was criticizing your posts..My apologies if what I wrote came out the wrong way and you misinterpreted it...

Thanks for the heads up on the sales. Joes will be a great place to shop for deals in teh coming weeks.

Buzz bombs/Pt Wilson darts are great. Load up on the pink buzz bombs for Humpy season and the all white Pt Wilson Darts for this years Area 9/10 king fishery this summer...

Stick around surenough. Lots of good folks on WashingtonLakes.com and I'm sure you got a lot to share as well...

sweet thats what got me confused, im new and learing thats why i was thrown off by that comment. im learning how to fish for salmon so there is definatly a lot to learn
For Salmon and Trout,..I think that they'll have ALL you'll need and then some,..for Bass-Gear though local places like Auburn Sports Marine and Three Rivers Marine are your best bet unless you want 2 spend online with Tackle Warehouse and Bass Pro Shops and others. I try and spend and support locally but sometimes it's more convenient 2 shop online!!

BB
Don't forget that Three Rivers and Auburn Sports and Marine are also great spots for salmon and steelhead gear. Great product selection and great knowledge from their employees. On the north end Ted's is another great spot for local gear and knowledge...

I have to pick up some hooks today, will run by the Kirkland store and see if there's anything left. I just bought $50 worth of cranks off BPS so I'll have to sneak the Joes bag in the house so my wife doesn't notice hehe....

20%-30% is a decent savings,..if it gets lower than 50% not sure how much will be left,..I did hear from a friend that works in the Renton Store that before it's all said and done Joe's will even be selling off all of their Flat-Screen TV's along with all the other Video-Equip and all the shelving materials and what not!

Fishing gear is now 15% off in Issaquah also. Saw they finally put a 5% discount on guns and ammo as of this morning.

My friend picked up a new tube yesterday with 20% off but tackle was still at 10% in Lakewood.
'course they don't have biscuits and gravy ... but if they did, I bet everyone would eat there.

Just hit the Kirkland store on lunch break. Here's the rundown on current bass tackle:

Jigs are wiped out. Gone.
Buzzbaits are mostly gone except for the $7+ Booyah buzz's and the 1/4 Booyahs.
Lots of Yamamoto plastics are in stock.
YUM plastics are stocked at about 50% of what would normally be there.
Rapalas look like they've barely been touched.
Fat Lip cranks are almost gone.

The bass section is already looking depleted. The Trout/Salmon section barely looks like it's been touched.

I was at the Lynnwood store and noticed that all the good fly poles are gone. Must have been sent back or someone bought the whole mess. I noticed that the only fly poles remaining were the ones that were old stock or the off brands from Lamiglass and GLomis along with some odd brands...Only about a dozen remained and they weren't any high end remaining. Still lot's of tackle left at 10%.... They said that the group that is blowing out the stuff, is the company that owns Macy's. Only about a dozen people were in the store actually buying anything when I was there. Maybe they will get the prices down to actual deals...but not yet at Lynnwood.

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

picked up a bass jig, downrigger rod, bass hooks, trout hooks, weights, and a salmon jig. Issaquah's store is losing invetory fast. No bass jigs left. Rod selection is starting to go down.
