1988 Skeeter SD-80 Bass Boat

Post by 2000subaru » Mon May 12, 2014 6:42 pm

Possible seeking sale of my Skeeter bass boat. 1989 Yamaha ETLF 70HP motor with a rebuild top end. Evidently when I bought it there was a crack in the block under the CDI unit. It has served me well for the past few years, but I find that I have very little time to fish lately. Since owning the boat I have done the following:
-Rebuilt Top end
-Had the Carbs cleaned and tuned last year
-Complete carpet and seat reupholstery. Colors now match the boat.
-Repaired livewell that were not operational.
-Replaced control board on MinnKota trolling motor.
-Newer starting battery (last year or two)
-New poly Fuel tank (6 gallon)
The boat would be sold with two fish finders, a B/W Humminbird, and a Humminbird 535C (color and loaded with markers!),
Minnkota 24V 55lb thrust bow mounted trolling motor with foot pedal and remote controls, on-board battery charging system and tender and a custom built storage unit that fits in the front end to make a huge fishing platform and two extra seats and buttseats for the fishing platforms. She is dry, doesn't take on any water, and cruises up to 40MPH. You have to occasionally work the trim though. Over time it drops, but hasn't leaked a drop the entire time I have owned it. I have spoken to the marina on Lake Tapps and they had worked on the boat previously to my ownership and it had the same problem back then also. They said a replacement would fix the problem. Not sure is it is a seal on the inside, but I am not taking it apart to deal with it. I have had the boat for 6 years, and it doesn't bother me one bit.

Again, there seems to be too few hours in my day lately and so many projects here at the house to do that fishing has taken a back seat for me. Looking for $4500. Please PM me with any questions.
