We were booked at Steamboat for prefishing Banks for the upcoming NWB tourney, and just bagged it altogether. Supposed to be snow 2k and lower in the passes, and crazy wind over at Banks too! Bummed, but it's just not worth it!

I took the studded snow tires off yesterday. Snow falling hard in Waterville with 6" to 8" predicted.

Was going down to Silver Lake but I think it might be deemed child abuse if I take my son out in this, though it
is tempting to load up the sled and head for Mt.Rainier.
I'm sure its not as enjoyable but those are some good pics.

Ahh, come on, trailering a boat in the snow isn't that bad. I've done it 3 times already, and twice just this year. [flapper]

Trailer the boat in the snow with no issues. It's the norm for fishing Rufus in the winter. Set it up right and it's not a problem.

As for snow this time of year, it's very common with the weather patterns. Clear to cool then clouds for snow. Some of the best powder skiing days I've had were had in April. Now by afternoon.........Guanch....

Spending a few days in Boise with my daughter. Yesterday I was fishing the Boise River in a driving snow storm with wind[blink] Today the wind is blowing hard and more snow coming. Great timing for a little time off. Oh well....... [sad]

The area around La Grande is suppose to have winds over 60+ mph today with snow. Hope it gets it out of it's system before I head over the passes on Sunday.

Its good that you take God with you, but I've heard he tends to cheat on his limit and can make many fish appear to only be few in his basket.

[thumbsup] I've fished in weather like that while glo ballin' and usually the colder it is the better the bite, but loss of feeling in the hands and feet goes with the territory.Yeah i like colder weather any way! people tend to stay home when they see there breath or a couple of snow flakes, either way more fish for us diehards![biggrin]

Yeah it probably wont be that bad, but it will be the 1st time pulling the boat through snow. I thought we were done with snow this year :santa:

My girlfriend went out to Spokane for Easter. She left this morning, and just got there. She said they saw numerous accidents and had to go 35 MPH all the way to Vantage :-s
