Whats everybodys plans fo memeorial day. I know a lot of people stay home to avoid the crowds. Im still undecided. The price of gas and no reservations to anywhere play a huge role.

Hanging out with the wife and kid and memorializing. :d/
Probably head across the Sound and hit up Cottage Lake with a buddy, his wife and kid at the lake house.
Definitely going to enjoy the day off on Monday. You guys do the same.
Have a happy anniversary bustin. =d> How long?

I'm going to be at the in-laws in coulee city, going to hit banks lake for four days of wakeboarding and fishing -- oh and I want to check out the rodeo. I was just at Jameson Lake this past week and towed the boat the rest of the way and left it at their place.
Hopefully the weather gets better than what's forecasted.

I'm not going to fight the crowds for a camp spot this year. I am going fishing though. I will be taking a day trip to one of my favorite lakes.

It's my birthday weekend!!! Gonna have some fun:)
On Saturday night I'm heading down to Mineral Lake to see a guy that does a "Johnny Cash" tribute show. It is $25.00 bucks to get in, but this guy is awsome!!!! He puts on a great show and sounds just like the real deal. The show is in the old high-school that has been changed into an activity center.
You all be good to make up for me alright!!!:) Have a good one...If you want to see a good Johnny Cash Show gather up the wife, girlfriend, any hitch-hikers... and come on down.

A few friends and I are planning on going to Goose Lake, however I read a recent report on the not so perfect conditions of the roads and lake and I'm having second thoughts. It would be perfect there because we are planning on having between 10 and 20 men, women, and children with us and I know there are a lot of open areas surrounding the lake within the forest, but I think it best to avoid the supposed poor conditions if possible. We are all clean, respectful partiers and are open for ideas on any better fishing/camping spots. Anyone have suggestions? All are welcome as long as they are in the Southwest Washington area. Thanks a million.

Ok, so we have decided on finding a spot up around Yale Lake, Merwin Lake, or Swift. Does anyone have any advice on which one to choose. We are primarily trout fishermen and women but do have the capabilities to catch some Kokanee. The camping should be safe for kids and away from the public. Like I said in my last post we are clean and respectful. Open to all suggestions. Thanks.

I might consider it if I didn't have to break camp (were RV'n it) to run down to Mineral.
