Hey Mike, anyone that listens to Roy Buchanan is good in my book! I've just about wore out Roy Buchanan's 'Anthology'.

RE:Top 10 Favorite Songs
Back in the 80s Roy B played in Ballard of all places - and the dance floor was empty. So my friend and I sat down at Roy's feet, not more than 5 feet away and watched one of the greatest guitar players for the next 1 1/2 hrs. He looked down at us and grinned and we grinned back. It was the coolest concert experinece I've ever had. That guy could play!
Anyway, when I heard Roy B took his life it made me so sad. Such much talent and life was still too hard to endure? very sad.
BTW, if you like Roy you should give Rory Gallagher a listen. Another great blues players - plays a strat, lived in Ireland. Died of kidney failure. Great musician.

Just checked out some of Rory's samples on Yahoo Music...WOW! Thanks for the tip. Need to pick up couple of his CD's.
Albert Collins and Roy B. were the staple CD's when we would fish the Methow in the spring.
Wish there were more places to listen to some good live blues around here.
