Fish heads foul another Washington road
RACFISH, you wouldn't know anything about this.....would you?[sneaky]
ABERDEEN, Wash. (AP) — It turns out the discovery of a big pile of bloody fish heads on Interstate 5 this week was the second such case on Washington state roads recently.
The State Patrol says a batch of fish heads was also reported on Aug. 28 along Highway 101 in Grays Harbor County. Trooper Jason March responded and shoveled the fish heads off the road. No witnesses to the fish-head spill have come forward.
It wasn’t clear if that incident was related to a case in North Seattle on Tuesday, when a trooper responding to a report of a lost load slowing traffic on I-5 found fish heads spilled across several northbound lanes.

Hahahahaha! Somebody is dumping their guts on the road. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same guy fishing the skok, the duwi and the puke.

Funny this should come up. I was in Port Townsend working for the last month and the job we were doing happened to be close to a fishery. Long story short after all fish are gutted tails and heads cut off they go into a big bin. The bin weighs 600lbs. A farmer that lives out that way picks them up on a trailer and uses them for fertilizer. The bins where cracked and stuff falling out of them. I`m sure there are many small fisheries that do this. But this caught my eye because it was over in that area. Not being a salmon guy it was great watching 30,000lbs a day come in and out of there and the indians bringing there catch also.

Sorry guys, couldn't help myself, just too funny watching a trooper shovel in hand pushing fish heads off the road.

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Must be a slow day for news, lol....

First of all ,let me clear my name. I dont ever catch that many fish at one time. If it was me the story would have read. We found one fishead on the road today.I catch more skunks then I do fish... Hahaha Besides I save my Salmon Heads for fish Stock. The heads and bones of salmon make excellent fish stock.

LOl Dr Demento. Good stuff. Remember listening to an album of his as a kid. Something about summer camp or something.
As for multiple fish heads, the fertilizer farmer scenario seems plausible.

Hehehe when I was running dogfish operation, I had a truck coming from north with 20,000lb on board. They took a turn in town and lost the entire load in some poor folks front yard. Stink......
