Too many forums?
Anyone on here think there are too many different subforums?
I think its too much, its tough to find certain threads and the activity on the forums gets diluted because its so spread out... We have 4 sections for Oregon fishing which seems pointless, and close to like 30 different subforums in total? Just seems too difficult to navigate, why not condense everything into 5-10 forums?
Less is better?

I just lounge around in the 'Active Discussions' all day long.
It's close to the bottom of the page. Click on it/the thing to the left of the words - Active Discussions

Also if there is something specific you are looking for, you can use the search function.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

I think it`s perfect again my opinion. I`m a member of a couple other bass sites and they have 10 times as many topics. Now that`s hard to navigate through. I`m a regular so I have my topics I post on and the others I rarely look at.

The best change for me is no change!!!! Leave it alone. I finally have it all figured out.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Look at it as a sign of growth for the website. Im still getting used to it too. One day if I decide to go to Eastern Washington and fish for Pike, then I can just go to the pike forum for answers.

Agreed it took me awhile to figure it out also. Then we got attacked and it changed again for the better. I think I got it figured out again.racfish wrote:The best change for me is no change!!!! Leave it alone. I finally have it all figured out.

I personally like the variety. I'm guessing the intent behind the variety might be to provide as many topics as possible to reach as many guests and member's needs and interests as possible. If a section doesn't interest me, for example the section on Oregon, I just don't visit it. Since becoming a member in 2007 I've never seen the site look better. JMO.
