Do you have any fishing superstitions?

I always were one of my many fish caps .. and they all have a hook pegged in the side ... my thought is, if it ever comes down to just one hook , well hats off and keep fishing ....lol

I have one.

If I don't catch any fish on a certain lake that I KNOW holds fish, I won't quit fishing it day after day until I catch something. I have done this only a couple of times now but one lake gave me days of trouble. I hit this lake up 3 days before I landed a ton of bass and a trout. Diligence pays off. I guess my superstition is if I get blanked on a lake I can't fish another lake or I'll carry over that same luck. That lake has to be conquered before I can move on to another body of water. Kind of retarded I know, but this is me.

I think another would be comfortable shoes. Maybe not a superstition but definitely a necessity.

I like some of yours guys'. I'll take one of each.
