We have been getting a little of everything today, we had 3 inches this morning which basically melted down to a half inch with intermittent snow/sleet/rain/hail/mixed crap now it is snowing again pretty good, just hovering right around 3" still on the ground. Its been a weird weather day up in the 7 lakes area. I'm guessing we will probably see 2-3 more inches put down tonight and it will melt off tomorrow morning again.

Nothing coming down or on the ground in Bellevue. Heck, I just left work in Redmond and there was nothing there either. I think this whole snow storm panic is just a hoax. Until the winds change and the temps drop, I won't buy into the hype.

I heard that Mt Vernon got over a freakin foot!! 30 miles of I-5 was closed for several hours when drivers abandoned their cars along the roadway. Several places saw 16" of snow.

Glad I don't live further north.

On the east side, Spokane got 13" with blowing snow. All the schools are closed. Expecting 20-35 mph winds with wind chills tonight and tomorrow night near -30º

I'm going downstairs and tie up some flies...........[thumbup]

Why tie them? Are the flies trying to go outside and they'll freeze out there, or get lost in the snow? Maybe just put them in a heated kennel. [biggrin]

Well, with 40 mph winds, they would get lost in the snow and the poor little guys would freeze.:shaking:

I bet you would pee an icicle if you tried to take a leak in -30! haha

Cruised home from work this morning. Pierce County has pockets of snow. Back end of South Hill has around 4-5inches,Bonney Lake at around 6 inches but seems like more in various locations. Downtown Puyallup, maybe 2 inches at best. More issues with ice rather than snow. My boy's preschool was cancelled and we had a good day busting out the sled but pretty much all of the snow is gone now with a little left over on the roof.

Got about 3.5"-4" in the deepest parts of my yard. Not looking forward to the big freeze expected tonight.

We received about 6" here in Waterville with drifts in some places running several feet deep.

I was hoping I'd get snowed in but we got what I expected... next to zippo.

A flake here a flake there... usually in the form of a weather prognosticator or my mother in law... in each case wrong about the weather :D

Wed. was semi fun. Was driving from Shoreline to Lynnwood and depending on what street I was on dictacted the weather pattern. Rain, snow, hail, sleet, all the above at the same time. And when I got home nada...

I worked up in Monroe tonight for the first time since the snow hit. They still have a couple inches up there but wan was it COLD temps hit about 10* towards the end of the shift. My boots were freezing everything and so were my gloves. The ropes we were using looked more like spears, they were all frozen completely solid.
