Do kids count?
I have a collection of fish. I love home aquariums and I'm in the very begining stages of putting a pond together.
At some point I'd like to get a dog but fish are currently my only pets at this time

Get a Lab or Golden. Then the dog and fish can play together. Yes that does happen. My neighbor had a BIG Coy and a Golden, then later a Black Lab. The fish would acually play with them. Or so it would seem. The dog would stand on the bank of the pond and the fish would come up to the edge and when the dog jumped into the water the fish would leave, but come back and they'd do it again, over and over.

Now thats cool. I'm thinking lab, german shepard or a huskie. A dog that will have no issues with camping or tearing
the legs off an intruder.:-$

Then you'd better not get a Malamute. They usually let a person IN, but won't let them OUT until they give the dog a treat. Cherokee would lick people to death.

Here's a pic of Zeeker. He was 6 months old in June when this was taken. 11 months now and 163 whopping lbs. GREAT dog. I'll update with a new picture soon.

Zeeker is an English Mastiff. All current 180 lbs of him! He's a great dog but take note that they are stubborn, very aware of their weight, will tear your furniture to shreds if they don't have enough play toys, Trust me, we learned the hard way, we won't go into the land mines that they leave behind (if ya know what I mean, lol). On the good side, he is very loving, gentle as can be with my 4 year old and by nature, very protective of his family. I had a rot (Max is beautiful by the way) and a pit and I would say that Zeeker is more protective and aware than both of them.

Gotta love the Doggles [cool] see alot of side-car dogs wearing them in Sturgis..
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

after you post (not quick reply..use Add Reply option), go read it and you should see an "Attach" option. Selecting that will allow you to browse your pictures and then upload. Make sure they are around 200kb or so, to stay within the size limit restrictions.

Gringo: Regarding the doggles, true story.... I had client who forgot his sunglasses, I say, no problem I have an extra pair in the glovebox. I turn around to do something and when I look back I realize he's grabbed the doggles and is wearing them!!!!! He's like man, these are really comfortable! :) I'm like yeah uh, those are doggles, you know...for my dog...but you are more than welcome to wear them if you want, and that's exactly what he did, the whole day! I couldn't help but laugh every time I looked over at him!
