Stuck on Barf!

Post by rseas » Mon Aug 13, 2012 5:06 am

It seems that functionality of the "Reports" picture feature has changed. I believe that once the reader opens a given picture, the feature should allow you to scroll through pictures that have been attached to the fishing report. Currently it gets stuck on the first photo opened.

"then i started click'n on your pics ... THANKS for the puke pic ... worst part was with the newst thingy on the site there was nowhere to ckick to change the nasty thing or close it .... soooo i drug my cursor all over the pic a few times before i hit bk ... OMG MAN !!!!! ... "

I used to be able to move from picture to picture if there was more than 1. Now you have to hit the little x, close that one out before you move on to the next picture. I thought it was just my computer doing her thing. At least it is not her acting up on me. The barf was extreme....

Happened to me too, same as rseas, click on a pic, and you are stuck tehre, no way to move on, and no way to close it except for the back button. Aaron, looks like there is an issue with the pic viewer
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Worked fine for me yesterday (and still this morning), you have to put the cursor near the right center of the picture for the arrow to appear. I was able to scroll through all the pics no problem.

Thanks for the quick fix Aaron! Makes looking at the fish porn much easier.

Has this problem come back? This morning, when opening a report and looking at pictures, the forward/reverse arrow is gone. Can only see other pics by using the back button and clicking on a different picture.

I just tried with the same problem.
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

A script library that is used all over the site was updated, out of our control, and it has caused all kinds of problems. I've downgraded the version back to the previous version and it seems to have resolved a few of our more pressing issues.

Is that script library ad related? If so, it explains something I've been experiencing elsewhere.

No, not to my knowledge. What have you been seeing elsewhere?

Lots of failed script messages at THT over the past week or so. I don't visit often, but it's been annoying the last few times I logged on. When you mentioned script library I thought maybe that's what was happening there.

The Hull Truth. Huge boating website catering mainly to offshore boating primarily along the eastern shoreline and gulf coasts. I read it occasionally just for gee whiz. [wink]
