new post icons

I dont think the little icons are working right. Posts that I have not looked at yet don't always show up with the new post icon. Are they supposed to say new post until I look at them or am I confused on how those icons work?

When you visit the site a Last Visit time is recorded. Those new posts were posted since your last visit. All other posts are considered old. At least thats how I *think* it works.

OK I know what is happening WL is one of my home pages and I have the login set to auto. When another member of my household goes on-line its logging into the page. Then when I get on-line the page thinks I have already been there. I guess I will have to turn the auto login off or take WL off of the home page list.
