Anyone have an open seat, or want to meet at the river sat

Post by drysuperfly52 » Wed Jul 24, 2013 7:05 pm

I want to get out and hit up so,e salmon or steelhead. I am sick of getting skunked every time,. Is anyone going out Saturday morning, I make a great shore buddy haha. I can bring some beers and get our fish on. I am not a complete rookie angler I know all the etiquette, have all the gear just need to learn the catching and getting on the fish part.

I'd come with you to a river, but I'm not any good at catching them either so you wouldn't learn too much.

Well, I guess I could teach you a thing or two about catching sculpin, I'm pretty good at that!

Haha sounds good to me, do you want to attempt steelhead? Since pinks aren't quite legal yet

I can't this Saturday, I'm squidding Friday night and hitting picnic point on Sunday. Pretty sure the wife would kill me if I went out Saturday too. Haha, and then on the 3rd I'll be slaying pinks on Whidbey, but hey, I'm sure we'll meet up sometime soon, I can't wait til the pinks hit, I swear I'm gonna catch a damn fish in a damn river this damn year. Hah

When I head to the little quilicene I will let you know, that is about the only river I have luck in.

Once pinks get going in the rivers I can help you out on snohomish. There are a couple spots I like to fish that are pretty easy and not to snaggy.
I would offer some help on the steel head or kings, but low water steel head i still need to learn myself and i normally dont spend much time chasing kings in the river.
I will have plenty of eggs come coho season if your into that too.
