Culinary Delights forum..

Post by Rollin with Rolland » Thu Nov 06, 2008 3:26 pm

I'll be honest. I have very little knowledge of the technical aspect of a site like this. I just had an idea I thought I would put out there.....

It seems like the Culinary Delights is a popular topic visited. I would like to try almost every recipe suggested. But one problem. I may not have fresh salmon (FOR SUSHI!!) until next spring. Likewise, I want to try some of those crab recipes, but no crab until next summer. I know the new upgrade is coming......how hard would it be to add some sort of search-able recipe index?? I know you could just search the forum for six months, but I'm thinking no chit chat to file through....just a straight "members recipes.....try at your own risk :-& " section. like I said, I wanna try all these recipes, I just don't have time right now and some of them are gone I think. What say ye? (recipes ONLY, no comments....that can be for the forum)

What is the one thing harder than catching a fish??? Cooking it right!

Anybody can make a good fish taste bad, but only a special cook can make a good fish taste great....

Sounds like a good idea to add to the bottom of the list of to-do's.

The bottom, not because it's not a good idea, but because there are a lot of other things planned, but consider it on the list. I don't like the idea of not having comments on them, but the comments will be more like the Report comment system and less like the forum. We'll also add a rating system to them.

Totally understandable. "Bigger fish to fry" (sorry for the pun) I understand. Great idea on the comment part, I never thought of that. But yeah, It would be nice to have some input like you said Aaron, without the "unimportant" stuff.

NICE!!

As Ben Franklin said: In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria.

Remember:
Water = Poop,
Wine = Health.

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of poop
