I am missing the links to new posts, unless I am just not seeing it - found it, hidden in the quick links

I really am liking the Upgrade. Thanks for your time and efforts, Aaron and Mike.
FYI... since the upgrade I have literally NO pop ups, banner ads, or anything. This speaking from via the iPhone. Usually that is a messier platform than the desktop. =D> [thumbsup]

Looks nice for sure. Funny thing, the background that is visible at the edges of this window are almost an exact fit to my desktop background!

Well thanks for the comments, glad you like most of it. The forum upgrade is really just a precursor to another complete site upgrade coming in the next 96 hours. A large problem we've (I've...) always had with the site is to make the forum and the website match. They are not running the same basic code behind the scenes (C# vs PHP), and because of that making the site match the forum, or the forum match the site, is always a problem.

The forum itself has slowed down in recent years, so we decide to just let it have a space of its own, and not worry about making it match the website.

This format is the basic out of the box format that phpBB uses, and keeping it patched and up to date will be 10000% easier now.

Maybe later in the year if I find the time I'll work on getting the menu bar added to the top again and possibly the new/unread/active links brought out of the quick links menu for easier use. We'll see.

As for the banner ads, that was an oversight on my part and will likely be addressed later in the month.

Thanks Aaron, and now I understand why they're split. I can go to the site to access reports easily enough. [thumbup]

I have to give credit here. You guys are jumping in and checking out everything people mention is an ‘issue’. That is some dedication! Thanks for all the hard work!
