I suspect its posted somewhere obvious, but I cant find it - what file types and sizes are allowed to be posted in the forum?

Im trying to attach two docx files from an email for the PSA. I converted them to various formats, but nothing I have tried so far is accepted - docx, doc, txt and PDF are all rejected?

What am I doing wrong?

Thats a possible workaround, but have you ever tried to read a multi-page document in jpg format? How about selecting text to highlight or copy?

Wouldnt it be better to know what formats, file types and sizes the site accepts? That way, things would just work :)

Its been 9 weeks since I asked this question and still no reply?

Are we just not allowed to post anything other than image files? It would be nice to know that, so we dont waste time trying to post other file types.....

or....

Is this top secrete info for some reason?

Or....

Is Aaron on a three month vacation?

Or....

Is Aaron mad at me for asking him to make too many changes to the new forum.

Or....?? :)

Only image files are allowed (gif, jpeg, jpg, png, tga, tif, tiff). Files other than that either take up too much server space, or can contian virus/trojan/macro virus. It just safer to only allow images.

Thanks for clearing that up. Im a little surprised at that though. This is the only forum I hang out on that has that restriction.
