Sort order of reports

It would be nice if the sort order of the latest reports would stay in the order that they came in.

I got a little confused as to which of my own reports was on which day because of the sort order. Oh well.. Also, I think many people are used to just checking the top of the list for the newest reports, and reading down till a point when they are re reading old reports. and assume that thats it.. (thats what I'm used to doing)

Try clicking on the "Date" column header. That should fix your issue. You may have to click it twice to get it to show most recent first.

I think I understand what you're saying. They're ordered by newest to oldest, but the newest ones, as in today's retorts, are ordered oldest to newest. I'll fix it.

Sorry about the confusion, but I believe they are sorted by "fished date" right now. Latest reports used to be sorted by "date posted".

So, for example:
"AMX takes 2 days to post his latest Lake Sawyer report, when he finally gets around to it, nobody will see it because 2 days of reports will show up before his."
The way it used to be, his report would show up at the top whenever it was posted, even if it was last month.

My older xp computer ,running chrome as a browser, doesnt show angler or species info. Is that problem on my end too?

My older xp computer ,running chrome as a browser, doesnt show angler or species info. Is that problem on my end too?

Chrome on my windows 10 laptop shows those things just fine, so Im guessing its something to do with XP? Have you tried Explorer or Firefox?

Blasphemy Larry. Don't steer people towards those browsers on my watch! ;)

It's a screen width "feature". Your older computer must be running a very low screen resolution. As the resolution goes down the columns disappear to minimize the amount of line wrap on the grid rows. Increase your screen resolution to higher than 1024x768 and those columns will reappear.

Now all we need are two more things concerning the reports.

1 - make the word 'details' red or orange or yellow when we have read that report.

2 - make a list of 'reports that have new comments' like there was with the last software/web site.

You asked me to change the color of the links a long time ago, so I did that. To orange.

Well, they aren't. They are a 'slightly' darker gray.

Ok, I just deleted all cookies, the color is still slightly darker gray.

It's not a cookie thing. It's a temporary files thing. Try pressing CTRL and F5 at the same time.

And I also deleted all history, but don't see anything refering to temp files on this computer. I can't even find a program/folder search feature.

Found it, deleted temp files, do difference in color.

The sorting seems to have reverted back to fished date instead of posted date again.... is that something on my end, or did something change? No biggie, I was just realizing that there were new reports further down the list that Ive been missing. Thanks -Ryan
