Heat Map Idea
Heat Map Idea
How about adding a filter to heat maps so we can filter by species? Also would be great to be able to drill down to the reports that generated the heat maps to get additional tips on tackle, depth, colors, speed etc. form the guys that marked the original hot spots.

Heat maps?
If you mean the Hotspot maps, you can already get to the original reports - just click on the hotspot symbol and the popup gives a link t the original report.

There's also a "heat map" style of map, it's under the drop down menu list for Members, black menu bar.Larry3215 wrote:Heat maps?

Aaron will see this, but I can tell you he's using all his time working on the new site.

Re: Heat Map Idea
Ah! I remember looking at that waaaaaay back when and deciding it wasnt useful. That was when I had a really sloooooow internet connection. I probably didnt wait long enough for it to load all the way.
Very cool feature!

Thanks, Mike.
Not sure what all the new site includes but thought I'd at least get the idea in the mix.
Whether it makes the next version of the site or one down the road it would be a useful tool so we don't spend too much time prospecting for kokanee in those great bass fishing spots or vice versa.
Looking forward to the new site when it comes online.
