Organization of Sub Forums

A couple of the sub forums are lumped into categories that they don't really belong, so I have a suggestion on how to reconfigure it.

I was thinking we could put Web Requests, Bugs & Problems/Moderator Support, and WL.com Items into a forum called WL.com Info or something along those lines.'

Then, add Classifieds, Announcements, Off Topic and Product Reviews into a forum called Off Topic.

Last, add Shellfishing, Hunting, Boating, and Fish Recipes into a Non-Fishing Discussions forum.

Once again, only an idea. Just kicking it around.

Please feel free to comment or offer suggestions to this.

i think that would make sense, but i dont really see a problem with the way they are configured right now.

That's a well thought out proposal, but with the new update coming in a few short months, I'm sure Mike and Aaron are busy and I agree with Max. I like the current configuration as well...

Let's see what the man behind the curtain has in store. It has grown since the last update and they may have some ideas already on the drawing board for the forum. At present, the layout is fairly will organized. If we start changing things around too much, it will be a whole new learning process again, especially for the off season members return in the spring.

I think that if possible, it would be easier to have defined sub forums like:

Recipes & Cooking-
>Game Recipes
>Fish Recipes
>Shellfish Recipes

Classified-
>Boat & Motors
>Fishing Tackle
>Electronic fishing equipment

In doing a more defined category division, the administrators or the moderators could move subjects to an appropriate thread if posted in the wrong category.

The search on the forum works very well, but you still have to search through the search results.
