How to get to Inbox to see messages?

How do I get into the Inbox after I login to my account? The only opportunity I saw is the first screen after I login there is a link to get messages. But once I'm off the initial screen there doesn't seem to be another way to find inbox other than to logout and log back in. What am I missing?

Look above to see 'new messages' click on it and go from there

Right above the title to this post is this line:

User Control Panel (0 new messages) • View your posts • New Flags Logged

When you have new messages, you can click that link to read them. That is also a link to your User COntrol Panel where you can change just about everything related to your account except your username.
