site problems

Post by Salmon King » Mon Apr 27, 2015 10:58 am

I seem to be having a problem navigating to certain areas of the site.
Obviously I can get to the forums but reports, rivers, lakes....I clixk on them and get nothing...what's up with that??

Thanks, Terry

That is why Aaron put in those colored squares up above, for the touch devices.

Are you using a phone or a desktop browser?

Very true, and the buttons always work. There are some items that can really only be accessed through the drop downs (i.e. looking at reports from last year, heat maps). It's really strange though, because sometimes I can just tap the drop down and it will stay dropped. Then I just tap the function that I want it it opens fine.

Other times though, the drop down will drop for a split second and then go away. If I don't tap the function/item quick enough, the drop down will disappear and I end up tapping whatever button is underneath where the drop down is supposed to be. It's very random, sometimes it works fine, sometimes it disappears.

It's just one of those things that I've just kind of dealt with and am actually used to it now.

You were probably asking the OP, but for me, it only really happens with my phone, may have to check the Kindle and see if it does the same.

I understand... and it's a complete pain in the arse. The next site upgrade will be better, I promise! Coming 2015.
