Forum photo sizes
Can we get an update to photo size restrictions here? This is the only forum I belong to that I have to specifically resize pics for before posting. Most forums allow pics up to 1024 x 768 (I do on mine) and many allow even larger sizes, but here I have to reduce to 750 x 562 in order to get under the limit.
I can upload report pics at 1024 x 768 but cannot post the exact same pics in the forum unless I resize smaller first.
Secondly, I suggest you consider a photo resizing mod for the forum so the pics are automatically "thumbnailed" for easy viewing instead of having scroll bars. I use ReIMG Image Resizer on my forum and no one ever sees scroll bars. If a member wants to view the pic within forum limited resolution, all they have to do is click on the thumbnail.
Food for thought.

Re: Forum photo sizes
The restriction is by file size not image dimensions. When I resize my images, I'll also adjust my JPEG quality to reduce the overall file size to meet the requirements. I believe the max file size is 256Kb, at least that is the message one gets when trying to upload a file that is too big.

Aaron's realm, but duly noted. He is busy on a total site upgrade coming out mid-March, assuming all is progressing on time...

I just posted a whole tutorial on MS "Paint"... but after re-reading your post, Phil. I don't think you have any questions on how to re-size images. That being said, I agree... the 256 kb thing is a pain.
Hopefully the upgrade will allow for some changes.

Re: Forum photo sizes
Yeah, it is. Thing is, I resize from full resolution (1mb) and share on more than one forum, but always have to reduce my resized pics before posting on WA Lakes forum even though they upload to a report just fine.

Looks good. Double clickable for 2 different sizes. 1st click for a big picture, click again for a giant picture.
