comments on fishing reports

Post by CoyoteCrazy » Wed Aug 07, 2013 6:49 pm

I was wondering if you could set it up so that we receive a message when someone comments on a fishing report we made so that we know if they have questions or suggestions about your success or in my case lack there of. Often times when I read reports of others you can glean a lot more knowledge from the comment conversations than the actual report itself.
Or is there a better way to see if someone commented on your report without searching each past report you made?
Thanks.

Unless you've uncovered a bug you are already supposed to get an email notification when a comment is made to your report.

Try going to my last report and posting a comment. I should get an email.

So.. we now know they are working. If you're not getting notifications of comments to your reports then I would look in your spam folder for them.

BTW, now that you have a Premium Membership all your reports are nicely organized under the "Members" tab, "My Reports". So no need to search all over the site again. =D>

Check your address, if you're using a throwaway address, you won't get the notifications. I use outlook and have a rule that puts them all in a special folder, I get a lot of notifications!

In the river section of making a report needs different wording. The word plunking needs to be included with methods. Also the colors need adjusting. For instance I used a green/red spin n glo. There should be a river condition area too. I still left my report. Thanks..
