When is Low Tide?

Post by rseas » Thu Aug 04, 2011 12:39 pm

While doing my pre-trip research for a trip to the salt on Sunday this morning I was researching the local tides and got to thinking that a link to one of the local tides websites would be handy. There are many out there so I am not going to recommend a specific site but I often use www.saltwatertides.com. Mike would it be possible to have some sort of button linking readers directly to a tide site?

I've always found NOAA to be the best source of tide info.

I don't know if it's the best source, but I've always used the Seattle Times tide tables resource. It's served me well enough.

That's cool, but I can't get the tide calculator to work.

When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.
