Searching Keywords

When I search keywords under the search tab it seems to take forever and sometimes I have to do it twice. Just an FYI. (Maybe it just takes awhile to do the search)
But that is not my request. I think it would be benificial to have the keyword you have searched for come up in the posts highlighted (bold). It is a lot easier to find what you are looking for and decipher whether or not that particular post has what you are searching for. I have fond this to be a great feature on other forums. And it comes in very handy if you search a very popular term and want to get to what you are looking for faster.

O.k. I just searched another word and it took four times to get it to finally go.

I agree, this will become a bigger problem when the site gets bigger and more members join. Like all forums I think we will start to see repeated posts that could've easily been answered with a search.

I did another search just now and I got a pop-up that says Error occured in Database. Still didn't get what I was looking for.

Are you talking about the forum search or the site search? Give me an example of something you are searching for that breaks things.

The forum search. I was searching for the $4 dollars a gallon thread. I put in the keywords $4 dollars a gallon and it thought, stopped, nothing came up, I hit it again and it took about 10 secs. and then nothing. I tried it again later in the day and it worked after the second time I searched it. Another keyword I looked up was Ice Jigs just to see if anyone had posted on them before and it took 4 times of hitting the search button before it told me that there were no matches for my search.
One thing I just noticed when trying this again (just now) to see if it would happen, was when you put in the keyword and press enter it doesn't work. But after that I hit search and it came up fairly quickly. I seached Ice Jigs again just see.

Hmmm. I get 29 pages of results for Ice Jigs and 3 pages of results for $4 dollars a gallon... on the first click. I know it won't work when you hit enter. That has always been a problem but it will be fixed on the next forum upgrade.

Is there anyway to have the searched word bolded in the posts that come up?
For example, when you search ice jigs you get anything and everything to do with ice and or jigs. Not necessarily Ice Jigs in particular. So now instead of finding posts specifically about Ice Jigs, I get every post that mentions jigs in it.
Sorry Aaron, I'm not trying to be a pain in your binary, but it would be a nice feature.
And maybe it's just me or my computer but I just searched again and it gave me a pop-up message that said An Error Occured in the Database. Again, this doesn't happen all the time. Maybe someone else should give some feedback on the search feature besides me.
